Not Your Father’s Birmingham

Many people have misconceptions about Birmingham from passing through it during childhood. They see it as a family-oriented uptight town. However, Birmingham has changed and, as many people say, this is not your father’s Birmingham. One of the best bars in Birmingham is Bacchus in the Burlington Arcade. This is the perfect place to come to enjoy some quiet drinks. The interior of this bar offers elements from Egypt, Rome, and even Greece. It is like stumbling into a book character’s world. The floor has lush carpet and the walls sport fine artwork. This is not the right bar for the unadventurous individual. The Jam House is another great hang out spot that is located in Birmingham’s St. Paul’s Square in the Jewellery Quarter. The Jam House is a great place to find some good music. Their musical director is Jools Holland. His band, the Rhythm and Blues Orchestra, plays The Jam frequently. There are many talented singers and musicians that play the venue. The crowd At this spot is made up of people in their thirties and forties. Angel Cafe Bar is another Birmingham hot spot that deserves a look. This place has a friendly atmosphere and is very popular among both gay and straight people. DJs play to lively crowds in this disco bar. The quality sound system is a hit with people in their twenties.Birmingham is a city that is filled with great places to hang out and have fun. It is no longer your father’s Birmingham. This is a great place for people in their twenties and thirties to enjoy their lives. People who enjoy the beat of loud music have a number of places to go. They can see live music or dance to disco grooves. Birmingham is an incredible place to have fun that is too often overlooked.
